The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It's located just a few minutes walk to the city center and about 10-15 mins walk to the funicolare that takes you to the train. Francesca made an excellent recommendation for a restaurant, too. I highly recommend.

Surrounded by 50 hectares of its own vineyards, Locanda Palazzone is just 5 km outside of Orvieto. It features a garden with swimming pool and panoramic countryside views.

Everything! We loved the experience of staying in a vineyard hotel! It was our second time in a hotel like that and at Locanda we felt like home! Everything was absolutely great! The visit at the Etruscan Cave, the wine tasting and the dinner were wonderful. We are very grateful to have found this “refuge” in Umbria. Without a question, we shall be coming back in the future! Fabulous historic property beautifully furnished. Giulia was proactive getting in touch and booked me a restaurant in the evening. Lavish breakfast. Very welcoming and relaxing place to stay as a solo traveller.

To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it.
