It was a cozy old school looking hotel as you enter. Staff was really helpful The room so nice, bathroom super stylish and modern. Super selection in breakfast buffet. The art around the hotel was joy to see 🙂 Hotel is right across to train terminal and tram stop both ways behind station, great way travel if you wants to visit *Ulriken" Mountain Solid work that they could recommend car parking really close to the hotel, discount for parking a bonus. I came with ferry, tried to search for parking beforehand but homepage for parking options around town wasnt helpful.

Very nice place with kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent, large variety of nice food from cold to warm. The room is very stylish, looks like it was taken out of an Agatha Christie book. The bathroom is nice and clean. Soap, Shampoo and Conditioner is provided. The hotel is right at the harbour and Bryggen, where you can find lovely restaurants, bars and the old town which is beautiful. Also the Fjord criuse trips start from the harbour 2 Minutes away from the hotel. Airport bus stops 1 minute away, airport train is 10 minutes walk away. This town is georgeous and so are its people. I would go back like right now.

I visited Bergen during Easter, so most shops and restaurants were closed. The evening meal at Havnekontoret made my trip a lot easier. I was also positively surprised by the quality of the meal - you get a hot meal, a soup and a great salad buffet. I also enjoyed the breakfasts and had the opportunity to try the afternoon fika waffles once - really tasty! The staff were very friendly and helped with all questions I had. The hotel was also very kind to upgrade my room free of charge to a more premium one with a nicer view to Bryggen and a bathtub since I stayed for five nights. The location is superb - the main attractions of Bergen are very close and the airport shuttle buss stops and leaves right next to the hotel. The room had a comfortable bed and all the necessities you could need.

This hotel overlooks Vågen Harbour, about 300 metres from Bergen’s fish market and 1.5 km from Bergen Central Station. It offers harbour views, free WiFi and a popular breakfast buffet.
