Buffet breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious but one thing to note if you want a writing desk and all the other guff then this is not the hotel for you. Rooms are practical and for sleeping. Staff are out of this world as in Super Friendly and always happy to help.

Easy way to check-in (through a machine in the hall and supportive info via email), big cosy room, no annoying sounds from other rooms, very GOOD cosmetics in the bath, big bed and welcome tea/coffee. When we arrived, we were a bit early so we had a lovely chat with (what we assume was) the landlady’s partner. He has upgraded out road trip with his fantastic suggestions. Lillian was a magnificant host. We were able to stay in the house all by ourselves, so we could enjoy the common rooms in quiet. The view is to die for. The beds were some of the most comfortable ones on our trip so far. All in all positively perfect!
