The bed was very comfortable, room was nice, clean and well kept. The air-conditioning unit was relatively new and worked well. Hot water was plentiful. Cleaners were friendly and we always had fresh towels and water etc. The location is pretty good, close to the walking streets and the citadel and also its quiet, which is a rarity in Vietnam! The breakfast is good (although I didn't always make it down zzzz), they have a menu of different options, which will definitely get you ready for the day. Omelettes, fried rice and things like that. They have a lounge, I ordered food from the Grab app a few times and ate there, pretty handy! Last but not least, the staff....so so nice and friendly. They were so welcoming and accommodating. The layout is beautiful, plenty of plants and trees it feels very spacious. The breakfast was a real treat.

Beautiful hotel full of history with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Lisa was unparalleled in organizing excursions. Great cocktails served up by Uong at the bar. Excellent gym and spa facilities. One of the best massages I have had in the whole of South East Asia!

Spacious rooms, a laptop-friendly workspace, a reading seat in the bay window, a bathtub, balcony, coffee and gowns ... the room had everything you may want for a comfortable stay. I loved that the pool was open until 10pm for some quiet night swimming. There are bars and restaurants, so food and drink are easy to get for most of the day and evening.
