It was a birthday gift to a family member and I mentioned the special occasion in my booking. My family were excited to receive a welcome basket of goodies for their birthday and a room that was sea facing. The Manager called them personally to invite them to a complimentary dinner but they were full from the delicious goody basket. They were then offered a complimentary breakfast and were very happy with the range of vegetarian foods that was provided to cater for them. The hotel more than exceeded our expectation in terms of making it special for the family member. Will definitely stay at Coastlands when we visit South Africa again.

Staff is very professional and attentive. Mandy at the front desk was exceptional and very caring, this hotel is highly recommended, mainly due to its amazing staff, who always go the extra mile for their guests.

Set on 4 acres of tropical gardens, this estate offers spacious rooms with private entrances. The terrace provides a swimming pool with a hot tub. Guests can enjoy a drink from the outside bar.
