The staff was incredibly helpful, arranging cars to visit the national park and cross the border and explaining how best to see everything in the park according to our group’s abilities. We appreciated the nature identification books in the little outdoor reading nook as well. Don’t miss the chapel either!

Decorated with an elegant style and classic details, rooms at Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru are equipped with air conditioning, functional work desks and minibars. All room offer spacious bathrooms and some also include a seating area. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Any time we needed to go somewhere they immidiately organised a taxi. Room was huge and with amazing view. The territory of the hotel is very green and relaxing. Everything was above our expectations.

The comfortable bungalows at Raices Amambai Lodges feature air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and kitchen facilities. All of them comprise a complete bathroom, including hairdryers and free toiletries. Tropical garden with a few lodges and a pool. Quiet and safe area. We had lodge 1508 and technical problems to open the front door sometimes, which was kind of a hassle. The employees were helpful, but the door needs fixing. There are a small fridge, a microwave oven, a water kettle and a few dishes, but no equipment for preparing meals. We brought teabags and coffee, so we were fine. All windows have mosquito protection and the patio was nice to sit, even if it had only two chairs for four people.
