What a great little hotel in the most gorgeous Czech town. The room with the view, the comfortable large bed and the spotlessly clean and modern bathroom were the plus points. The highlight was the owner who goes out of his way to make you comfortable and offers great local recommendations. The breakfast was nice too.

It is on one of the main streets in the old town of Cesky Krumlov and we were lucky to stay there during a festival so we were very lucky to be central. Everything is walking distance - you are pretty much next to the castle, 5 minutes from the river, 6 minutes from the main square, 7 minutes from the bus stop if travelling from Prague. The room seemed like it had recently been redone because everything was beautiful and clean and new. Self check-in was a breeze!

Residence Muzeum Vltavínů is set in the historical building in the centre of the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Český Krumlov. Only 2 minutes walk from the Vltava River, it features free Wi-Fi and individually decorated accommodation units with satellite TV. I arrived 3 hours earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly allowed me to enter the accommodation immediately. It was a perfect place with a fully equipped kitchen.

Dating back to 1360, Penzion Baroko is a late-Gothic building located in Cesky Krumlov’s city centre. The city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Cesky Krumlov Castle is just 50 metres away. The accommodation is located in one of the oldest houses in the city, and is extremely charming. Situated very close to the castle entrance, it is ideal for exploring the old town. The hosts are friendly. The breakfast selection is pretty good (cold cuts, cereals, boiled eggs, fruits, vegetables, jams, etc.). The coffee is also fine. The check-in process was very simple: we chose to check in online, so when we arrived, all we had to do was pick up the key. Paid parking is available in a closed area a few minutes from the accommodation, where the hosts can reserve a spot in advance upon request.
