Because they did not have dinner, we could buy food at a supermarket 100 m from the hotel. They allowed us to eat our food at the table in the breakfast room, which was really amazing. The free glass of wine per guest between 5 and 6 was a bonus.

Light meals and refreshments can also be purchased from the boutique's cafe. We had a lovely stay. The room was nice, clean, the staff friendly. We were staying here with our dog. We could take the dog for a breakfast with us. Dogs were not allowed at the buffet tables but as soon as you scooped your food you could eat it at the table with your dog. :) It makes sense. Everything was perfect.

What an amazing place, in a lovely quiet part of Holsted. Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

Set in an old merchant’s house from the 1850s, Den Gamle Købmandsgaard Bed & Breakfast features individually designed guest rooms. Each is decorated with wooden floors, modern furnishings and contemporary art. All have a flat-screen TV, seating area and private bathroom. Very nice and quaint room in a great location in Ribe. Breakfast is pre-packaged for each guest room and you can prepare on your own schedule. Owner was very friendly and helpful and bed was very comfortable.
