Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Our hotel has two pleasant terraces, one with sea views and the other sheltered by our ancient trees, where guests can rest and relax peacefully. Clean and cozy, with very friendly staff at the front desk and in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and recharging vacation.

Rooms at the Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao feature colourful modern décor and wooden furniture. Each room has air conditioning and a large bathroom with a hairdryer. Superb room and shower, a stunning breakfast, super helpful staff who went above and beyond to get us good coffee and help clean baby bottles etc. The little play area for kids at breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel was not only lovely I was told by the staff have been outstanding, and been lovely to them.

The front desk staff were very helpful. Excellent location, short walk to Guttenheim Museum and many excellent restaurants. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel’s Petit Komité Restaurant serves gourmet Basque food, using fresh, seasonal produce. There is also a weekly themed evening, when the chefs offer dishes from around the world. The food was wonderful, particularly as the web site says there wasn’t any.

A breakfast buffet featuring local produce can be served in the cafeteria or outside on the terrace. In the evenings hot and cold tapas is available. The hotel is a real gem in lovely old buildings exquisitely renovated and so tastefully furnished. It has really welcoming public areas and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and we enjoyed being able to eat a light evening meal in the bar there. Our room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of secure parking. It is only a 10 minute walk to the heart of Lekeitio with its lovely old streets and charming port area. We would love to come back and spend more time in this hotel and this area.

Hotel Embarcadero is set in a former Basque mansion in Las Arenas, in the heart of the coastal town of Getxo. There is easy transport to central Bilbao via Gobela and Areeta Metro Stations. Charming room, big enough, beautiful decor, lots of toilet products. Delicious breakfast, excellent restaurant. Everything LOVELY!

We loved our stay here. Everything in the hotel and room was amazing. Super friendly and patient staff, big and beautiful room, nice little town. The restaurant was unfortunately very empty but the quality of food is totally worth it and the family running it are very nice people. Would love to come back!

Really nice hotel at the center of the city. Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. I always stay here when I come to Bilbao. Staff is really friendly and helpful, I always feel very welcomed. Walking distance to Guggenheim and Casco viejo.
