Built in 1843, the Neoclassical Hotel Aktaion Syros is located right on the port of Ermoupolis, within walking distance of the town’s historical centre. It offers elegant accommodation with free Wi-Fi and LCD TV. Excellent location. Very clean and the staff was always very helpful with a smile on their face. We will surely come back on our next visit.

Breakfast was an experience in itself: served on our private veranda, it was a celebration of local, organic produce – zucchini from their own farm, homemade limoncello, honey, freshly baked bread, low-sugar jam, and the creamiest Greek yogurt we’ve ever tasted. The pool area is a dream, perfectly integrated into the landscape with stunning views and peaceful energy. Wind Tails is a place where you feel deeply connected to nature and tradition, far away from mass tourism and noise. Ano Syros, where Wind Tails is located, is a hidden gem: getting lost in its maze of ancient alleys, enjoying an evening cocktail at Theosis, or dining under the stars at Hygge made this stay truly unique. We savored every moment with all our senses – it was a soulful, serene, and sensational escape.
