Breakfast was amazing there is no buffet breakfast set menu only with lots of options The bed was so comfortable and the air con worked great just such a lovely hotel The 2nd time staying here in a pool access room this hotel has become our favorite in Ubud I can't wait to come back. Set amidst a garden featuring a chapel and pool, The Kayon Resort features rooms and villas with views over historical Petanu River and jungle. The resort offers complimentary hourly shuttle to and from central Ubud. This was our second stay at The Kayon Resort, and it was just as incredible — if not better — than the first! You feel truly pampered at this resort. The staff are warm, attentive, and always eager to assist with any questions or requests. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, which is especially important to me due to a back injury. The resort is kept clean, and the thoughtful turndown service each evening is such a lovely touch — returning to a softly lit room with drawn curtains and a lovely fragrance after a long day is pure bliss. I definitely recommend using the resort’s private driver service. We booked a full-day tour, plus transfers to the ferry terminal and airport, and it was seamless especially after the flooding. Our driver, Karta, was not only professional and friendly but also shared fascinating insights into Balinese culture throughout our trip. The van was spacious and comfortable, and we were always greeted with cold towels and bottled water after each outing — a small but much-appreciated luxury. The tours are fairly priced and can be completely customized to your interests and pace, which made the experience more enjoyable. I sincerely hope this wasn’t my last visit to this wonderful resort — I’m already looking forward to returning!
