Offering private parking, the bed and breakfast is 800 metres from Castello Maniace. The property is 300 metres from Cala Rossa Beach, and within 70 metres of the city centre. My husband and I had a room overlooking the square. It was magical. We made use of the small balcony to take in the comings and goings in the square. Paola is an outstanding host and communication with her before and during our stay was so helpful. She arranged our parking and suggested restaurants, etc. Paula told us that she grew up in this house, which made our stay all the more special. Our memories of two wonderful days in Ortigia are a highlight of our 16 days in Sicily!

Every room comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Some rooms offer views of the square, and some overlook the garden. The location is absolutely fabulous. The owner organized a private parking and personally helped us to get there. He's an amazing man, making sure his guests are happy and have all the comfort. The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was incredible.

The facilities were perfect for our children (playroom, playground, warm pool, childrens menu). And the accomodation was absolutley beautiful. Delicous breakfast.

Set on Ortigia Island overlooking the Ionian Sea, Algilà Ortigia Charme is right on the seafront. It features elegant, air-conditioned rooms equipped with antique furnishings from the 1700s. WiFi here is free. What an amazing Charme hotel. The pictures don't do it justice in my opinion as you feel welcome, cozy as well as posh all at the same time. My sister and I shared a room - so spacious (twin bed in a separate space and a queen canopy bed) and included the rooftop private patio. A bonus we did not expect! My father's room was queen and equally charming. The rooms and common areas are well-appointed. You are in a high-end place with reasonable prices- considering the location. The breakfast is amazing. The prunes- INSANE. From made-to-order omelets to fruit and meats/cheese/yogurt and beverages. 10 out of 10. The servers are top-notch and are very attentive. The front desk made several recommendations for restaurants- one, about a 5 min walk from the hotel (same street- just a few mins away) was our favorite meal. Close to everything - yet quiet and peaceful, THIS is the place to be.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Great location in the center of the old city of Ortigia, comfy and spacious room (we had one with a terrace). Very pleasant decor with local touches. The host is super helpful.

Each room at Giuggiulena is large and comfortable, with air conditioning, a minibar and a TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels. All rooms overlook the Ionian Sea; some rooms have a balcony. Fantastic location over looking the sea, sunsets and sunrises magical and at times mesmorising! A really chilled atmosphere about the place, beautifully furnished. Breakfasts are amazing with plenty of of choices, home made savoury and sweet dishes. Our hosts and staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly, would definitely return and recommend this very special place. X
