Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! Dinner and breakfast was present free of charge. The staff was very helpful.

The staff were very friendly, and the public spa was great too. We also loved the small sweet surprise waiting for us.

We booked the sea view rooms, it was beautiful. The public bath was great. Good value breakfast too!

Clean, good value, convenient location, lots free amenities, great hotel! Helped us a lot when they kept our suitcases before and after check in/out!

Overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Grand Prince Hotel is located a 15-minute drive from central Hiroshima. The hotel offers 5 dining options, a outdoor pool (only summer) and hot spring baths. The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. The views from the top restaurant while you eat are amazing. I totally recommend eating there. My partner loved the onsen and there's an Okonomiyaki Restaurant just outside that was absolutely delicious. All the staff is really nice and helpful.

This Michelin 3-star rated hotel offers modern accommodation with 6 restaurants, massage services and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Location 10/10. Entry to hotel via train station or street. Hiroshima castle, Shukkeien Garden, and Peacepark are all walking distance. Very easy loop to walk. Miyajima Island is very easy to access from Hiroshima Station. Easy access to convenience stores. Tram access is right below the hotel, too. The hotel was fancy, great size room for Japan. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Buffet breakfast available with discount for guests. Will hold your bags pre check in.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. From the free shuttle, to the welcoming staff and just the overall experience, it was amazing. The location is absolutely great as it's just outside the busy area, across the aquarium (which we can recommend) and the start of one of the three routes up Mt. Misen. It's quiet, the view from our seaside room was gorgeous and the food so tasty. Do not hesitate, book here! I certainly will if I come back to Miyajima!
