It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Really able to hit a couple of items off with this in. I love that they have English speaking staff. I'm surprised to meet fellow Filipinos working there. It was such an awesome welcome. The rooms were amazing and spacious. I slept like a baby with the futon they prepared for me. Ordered a traditional breakfast which did not disappoint. And the private bath really soothed my tired bones after long walks going around Kyoto. Would definitely stay there again!

Always giving nice recommendations and really helpful information on how to go around Kyoto and the best gems to visit. The breakfast was also very nice and the stay overall was excellent. Everything organised, clean, rooms were spacious and each of them have lockers enough spacious to put your luggage.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. One of our best stay in Japan. Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee. The best hostel I stayed! The staff amazing and everyone were very friendly! They organize games nights and even had a Christmas party 🎄🎅🏽 There is a lot of information provided on the walls (like markets date and location, and recommendations) Super clean, comfortable and good value for money. I took a single room which had a sink which made getting ready so easy. The showers are on the first floor, and the towels are just next to them so you could take as many as you needed. The location- just next to Kyoto station, you can easily get there and get everywhere you need to.

Rooms are big and nicely decorated. The staff has good English and an amazing service attitude - Simply beyond expectations. Location was great- just near the Kyoto station but without hearing any noise. We hope to return

Large room with sofa and table area, cleanliness, quietness, excellent service, very good breakfast, parking facilities, very comfortable beds, bathroom with large bath.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. It is within a 10-minute walk from Shijo, Karasuma and Kawaramachi subway stations. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the public area. This might have just been our most comfortable stay ever. The rooms were convenient and clean and the staff was so helpful! The hotel is truly beautiful and provided a great authentic Japanese experience. We ordered the breakfast, which was served to our room. We also got a delicious welcome drinks and sweets. The staff was kind and explained evevrything to great lengths. We were allowed to use the beautiful clothes provided and were alllowed to bring the drawstring bag home with us. This ryokan was defenitely worth the stay and we will defenitely come back if we ever visit Japan again!
