Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

The property was located near the park within walking distance of main attractions. It was well taken care of and had an onsen. The food was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They added to the experience and did a great job of making us feel very welcome.

All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Lovely room with a great view. Friendly staff and very well located.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Perfect Ryokan in a perfect location, with delicious food!
