It's a recently renovated luxury hotel within The Tokyo Station building and some 15 min walk from the Imperial Palace. The level of service is unsurpassed and the personnel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our Palace side room was very well appointed, quiet, pristine clean and with nice amenities. Public areas were tastefully decorated for Christmas. Breakfast choice is wide and the food quality is superb - you will be tempted whichever type of breakfast you decide to choose - Japanese, Western, Asian/ Chinese.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. nice, quiet, comfortable...Very nice and helpful hosts.

The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. The room was spacious for Tokyo standards and they provide free coffee in the lobby!

Its sophisticated guest rooms feature modern facilities and traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shin-Ochanomizu Subway Station. The room was exactly as advertised. It was roomy and luxurious. Staff was also helpful. My husband celebrated his birthday there and they provided a small birthday cake for us.

In the middle of Tokyo, feel the breath of each season as you experience a moment of relaxation. Absolute heaven! The garden is so beautiful it’s crazy and the hotel is gorgeous. Everything is perfect and they think of every little detail.

Located in the heart of Asakusa you enter a peaceful retreat once you cross the door. Every detail is charming and well taken care of! Keeping the traditional style but offering modernities like an elevator, dimmable lights in the rooms and air conditioning. One has access to a family bath that is super relaxing and clean. The staff is AMAZING! So polite, sweet and charming! They are so sweet and they take care of the messages one sends through Booking! Taka took a picture of us and he was kind enough to get a picture with my husband, and they were the nicest people taking care of us!! We felt at home here and we will surely come back when in Tokyo! Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. They gave me Apa branded curry, lol. It was delicious. The hotel is super close to the station, worth stayin and I loved the Spa on the last floor

Open from December 2015, Hotel Risveglio Akasaka is located just a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station on the Marunouchi Line. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property and there is a restaurant on-site. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, room was perfect for 1 person and the location is great! Nice smaller area compared to Shinjuku/Shibuya but lots of convenient stores and restaurants close by. Will be staying here again next time I’m in Tokyo.
