The location up on the hill overlooking the lake provided a beautiful view from the rooms and onsen. The breakfast, snacks, and dinner provided were delicious and we didn’t have to leave the property unless we wanted to explore. The onsen bath was clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. It's hard to describe how wonderful out stay at this property was. Fuji view right in front of us, open bath (onsen) with Fuji view again! Great staff, amazing atmosphere all around (no different from a gallery), super-friendly and helpful staff at bar as well. Their yukatas and kimono jackets were also fascinating. I mean, as I said, lots of words to describe but none of them would be enough. Just experience it yourself please.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

The property is a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Great location north of Fuji and lake Kawaguchi. Fantastic views of the mountain, restaurants and sightseeing all around, helpful staff, nice private onsen, spacious and comfortable villa.

A 7-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchi, the 2-person cottages at Ururun have a quaint European charm and offer a spa bath with Mount Fuji views. Sleeping arrangements are Japanese-style, with futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free. I was going to Kawaguchiko with my husband for 2 night stays, I would like to say the place was SUPERB with nice view (can view Mt Fuji from bathroom however I didn’t manage to see because of weather condition). It was a cozy cottage provided with bicycle from the owner :) Slightly distance from Kawaguchiko station, but very near to Oishi Park and Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. Definitely will come back again if I’m visiting Kawaguchiko next time :)) Cleanliness : 5/5 Comfort and Amenities: 5/5
