He understands the animals and knows exactly how they coexist in the park. He managed to show us all the rare animals in the park (leopard, bear, elephant with tusks, etc.). He always tried to show us places with fewer jeeps (there are about 100-150 per day). On top of that, he was really very friendly, and we laughed a lot. A wonderful day, I really recommend him as guide!

Wow wow wow, what an amazing hotel and the location is superb too! We loved our stay, and we were sad to leave. The hotel is not so big (think 10 rooms max?) so it never feels crowded. The room and bathroom were spacious and the cleanest we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Large balcony that felt private. Also the beach was amazing, not so much for swimming because of the rough sea but in turn we had it almost for ourselves and it felt perfectly remote. (Tip: try the sea food on the beach at ocean breeze dining club restaurant just 10 min beach walk away!)

One highlight was how they customized our dinner menu to suit my wife's cravings—something that truly made our stay extra special. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife, two incredibly humble and kind people who genuinely care about their guests' experience. The Yala safari they arranged for us was fairly priced—much better than other quotes we had—and it was one of the best parts of our trip. Everything was well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend Gaga Bees Yala to anyone looking for comfort, authenticity, and outstanding service near Yala National Park. We’ll definitely be back!
