I loved my stay at Bethel. The room was very specious and very clean. There were all facilities from cloth hangers, hair dryer, fridge, kettle.They had hanged mosquito net based on my request before I arrive. They had water filter to refill my bottles and use less plastic. There was hot water at convenient pressure for shower. The room overlooked green area. I felt sad that I couldn't enjoy the view from the balconies of the homestay enough, since I stayed in Kandy 1 day. The hosts were amazing people, very informative and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and of good variety. All from welcome to goodbye went great in their homestay. The rating is reflecting the reality of Bethel😊. For sure I will stay in Bethel, if I go and visit Kandy again one day.

Located in the heart of Kandy City, Villa 49 is 1 km from the famous Temple of Tooth. Its restaurant serves local and Western dishes. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. A cable TV is available in the lobby. Hosts were wonderful and the rooms were perfect with a great little balcony. Exceptional dinner at the guest house on the first night and an easy walk into town for anything.

Located amidst rolling green hills and the Madulkelle Tea Estate, this property offers tents with a terrace, a seating area, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. Wired internet access is available. Heaven! We had a family room being a group of 4. We loved it. The boys did the tea factory tour and enjoyed a lot while us girls were chilling at the amazing pool. Delicious food and extremely cozy. Very clean and nice staff.

Everything! 😍 It was a nice surprise The hotel is in the high part of Kandy ( facing knuckles mountain and a golden Buddha), the view is spectacular. The Sky Pavilion is a jewel, decorated with taste, it’s quiet , clean and rooms are beautiful all with the stunning view on the mountains and you can also relax by the pool The manager takes a good care of his guests and the staff is really helpful and nice . They will help you with everything, visits, food and drinks , transportation , money change etc… In addition, the cooking is really good , the breakfast is top ! And finally , their Tuk Tuk driver is a gem, he will take you to the best places in the city . I will come back there .

I want to especially mention the staff on shift on the morning of the day where we were allowed an early check in. Food was delicious. Rooms were clean, temperature controlled and well furnished.

A big bonus for the swimming pool and great service. All in all a good place to stay. You need a TukTuk to get there, which they arrange free of charge :)

The view from the room is wonderful, the food is delicious. The room is clean and cozy. The staff is very nice, helpful, friendly. Thank you very much!

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away. It is 800 metres away from Kandyan Cultural Centre and 5 km from the Tea Museum. Great walkable location to the lake and some restaurants. The hosts were so kind and accomodating. They have a great laundry service here as well. We could even park our rental tuk tuk. We really enjoyed our stay! Comfy beds, hot water, and speedy wifi really were the cherry on top for us backpackers!

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Nana who took us on a tour of the organic garden where most (if not all) the restaurant food is grown on site. A wealth of knowledge from this man, explaining all the health benefits of each plant. The food was exquisite, so compliments to the chefs and kitchen. The dining experience was made by the manager Heradh, who was so enthusiastic and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed his warm nature. It was also our introduction to Ayurveda which made our entire Sri Lankan trip that much more enjoyable. There is an Ayurvedic doctor on site with whom you can meet with and she proscribes specific treatments tailored to your needs. Our therapists were also great, Mohamed and Tharanga both so warm, friendly and accommodating. This was one of our best stops on our Sri Lankan trip. Don’t rush this stay, we stayed 3 nights and we wish we had stayed longer.
