Our room had the nicest view to the fiord, great staff, and very attentive, they pick us up from the ferry stop even without previous notice. Great service overall.

This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can also enjoy free WiFi. Everything is splendid, it is by the Aurland kai. Very nice staffs. Stunning view and very peaceful.

Each room has a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms have a balcony offering views of the Aurland Fjord and the mountains. It is a beautiful hotel right at the heart of Flam. Everything is close by - the Visitor Center, the bus station, the Flamsbana and the museum. The staff were helpful and room was amazing with great views. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip in the Nordic region.

Situated in western Norway’s Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this waterfront hotel offers easy access to ferry boat fjord tours. Some rooms have skylights with views up to Kjelsfossen Waterfall. It was such a dreamy room, the viking theme was exactly what we wanted. The panoramic view of the ceiling window was so beautiful,I didn't want to leave there . The staff was so nice and helpful, we had a small problem with the room, and when we called after 12 am they came either way and changed our rooms, so helpful. The viking village is right next to the hotel. It was a beautiful stay and one I will remember.

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. It is not located very close to Myrdal station, it's located 1,5 km from Myrdal. It's not possible to walk to the hotel wintertime due to the snow conditions. We recommend to take the train one stop down from Myrdal to Vatnahalsen station. Important to check the timetable for the trains. It takes 30 minutes to walk summertime. It's NOT possble to drive by car to Vatnahalsen hotel. Beautiful setting , beautiful old hotel with nice staff. The breakfast was above and beyond.
