Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away.
The classically decorated guest rooms have private bathrooms and free WiFi. Some rooms are located in an annex and some feature canopy beds and private balconies with fjord views.
Lorentz, the owner, and the rest of the team is super friendly, we really felt at home here and would definitly recommend Hjelle Hotel. They also offer sauna (free) and a gym (50 NOK) which is very nice and very big.
Flåm
Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord.
Flåm Marina's guest rooms have a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen providing all utensils needed for a relaxing, self-catering break.
We stayed 2 nights in two separate rooms and it was one of the best hotels we visited in Norway during our 2-week trip. One of the rooms had a kitchen which we clearly liked more in comparison with the other smaller one without kitchen. We particularly liked the lovely staff enthusiastically answering the phone and the fish soup at the restaurant which we ordered twice in a row. The fish main dish was wonderful as well.
Vossevangen
This former farmhouse has been carefully restored and converted into a rustic hotel and restaurant. Just 1 km from Voss, modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs feature in each room.
The individually decorated bedrooms at Store Ringheim Hotel feature a modern private bathroom. Some have a fireplace, while all come with a seating area and an electric kettle.
wonderful stay, has the feel of a homestay or airbnb but with the professionalism, amenties and the restaurants of a hotel. Lovely location with gorgeous views, only a few minutes from town and there is a courtesy bus that will run you in/pick you up as needed. This was a lovely break from our mainly large hotel stay during our travels. Late checkout 12 pm meant that we could have a sleep in and not have to rush in the morning
Balestrand
Dragsvik Fjordhotell is located along the Gaularfjellet National Tourist Route (National Scenic Routes)

One of the most scenic places I have ever been
Solvorn
Walaker Hotel’s unique rooms create an old-world charm with their antique furniture, high ceilings and decorative curtains. The stylish bathrooms include a bathtub or shower, toilets and free bath products. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.
Bergen City Centre, Bergen
Located only 800 metres from Bergen train station, Hotel Oleana is located in Central Bergen. This classic building is refurbished with modern and elegant design. Restaurants, cafés and boutiques are found just around the corner along the pedestrian square. Great breakfast buffet! Central location to where everything is happening in Bergen.
Bergen City Centre, Bergen
Offering a sky bar overlooking the mountains and Bergen, this Scandic hotel is located next to Bergen Train Station. Modern rooms with a flat-screen TV, bathroom with shower and free WiFi access are offered here. Torgallmenningen Square is 5 minutes’ walk away. I was very impressed with the lunch box option - for small amount of money you get a takeaway box and can pack yourself a meal for later. Breakfast was delicious and we were so happy to have a healthy lunch sorted for the train ride back. Also I was positively surprised that they have a very easy system for shipping the items that were forgotten in the room. Hotel looks very nice. Everything was in walking distance.
Flåm
This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. All rooms have views towards the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. The hotel was right behind the Flåmsbana- just a short walk from the cruise to Gudvangen, the bus stop and the tourist information. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast & dinner buffet had many choices and everything was delicious- there was a selection of local cheeses as well.
Lofthus

A communal kitchen with all facilities is available for all guests at Hardanger Hostel B&B. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room.
The location is absolutely wonderful. The budget room we stayed in was quite comfortable. The hostel is better than the photos. Very good breakfast.

I like how the property is really classy, there was a coffee area at the level 1 that allowed us free flow coffee and tea in takeaway cups, which is so nice when it’s cold outside in winter.. The hotel also uses rituals soap, so it was nice smelling and the room is also really nice interior design. Breakfast buffet is good too, was one of the most variety and the food was delicious.
Beautiful designed small boutique hotel. So clean and comfortable with fabulous staff. Great breakfast choices, centrally located. Easy walk to everything.
You can see a good Interior Design work in this room which is very stylish and very central.
The apartment is the most expensive one in my whole trip in Norway, however, the best too. Very spacious with a modern nordic design, my wife and my daughter both gave five thumbs up and wowed. Terrace is lovely and there is a stunning view of the spectacular glacier. Free paddles and kayaks are bonus to us becuase we love olden lake! Unforgettable experience of kayaking on the lake. My daughter bravely took the challenge of controlling the boat by herself , impressive!
Location, funky design, lovely staff, excellent breakfast with a great view of the harbour.
A boutique hotel beautifully situated on the waterfront south of Bergen centre. Modern, tasty and colourful design of rooms and public spaces. A combined reception, lounge and breakfast area with a welcoming feeling inviting guests to hang around. A small but perfectly usable fitness room. Good value for money.
