Polkerris was Amazing!!! It won't be for everyone; it's up a hill which will immediately reveal what shape your heart is in, and honestly, the hill was taxing enough that I didn't want to walk it every day. Fortunately, I didn't have to!! A gentleman named Michael is the prompt and courteous driver the property recommends, but the property is so tranquil and peaceful that who wants to leave?!? I felt like I was in my own private island getaway!! From the arrival, with Laura's husband taking my bags, to meeting Laura, the manager who made herself available 24/7, to the delightful woman who served us every morning whose name I failed to get, to Ms. Teresa, the matriarch who, though elderly, is actively involved with management of the property - - so much about this trip was simply superlative. My room opened onto the pool, and breakfast each day was overlooking the beautiful waters of Montego Bay. This won't be for everyone, but if you want a place to recharge your batteries, to be surrounded by natural beauty, and to have the option of being right in the middle of the Hip Strip if you want, this is the place! I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed it!!!

A lot of choice and everything was fresh and delicious. The private beach came with very large comfortable loungers. The staff were very attentive as well. Our oceanview room with a large balcony overlooked the beach as well. One of the best hotels we've stayed at on vacation.
