The room was spacious and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The location was ideally situated just 5 minutes walk from the bustling town centre, in a quiet road. But the best feature was the owner, Vicky. She helped us with all our tour bookings, sorted out our transfers to and from Hoi An at below average prices and was always at hand to give us useful advice, always with a smile on her face. She even gave us a delicious packed lunch for our onward trip. A lovely experience and definitely great value for money.

The Phuc Thao Villa is 1.7 km to the Hoi An ancient town. It is located in the central Hoi An but outside the ancient town, where you are really easy to find out any services, such as: food stores, tailors, souvenir shops, gyms, yoga centers, mini-marts or even traditional market (Ba Le Market)... We absolutely loved our stay at Phuc Thao! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They checked in with us every day and gave us great recommendations and provided fruits, tea and coffee. You can use the bikes for free, which we loved doing as it meant we could cycle through the rice fields and go to the beach and the ancient town, whenever we wanted. Thank you so much!

We originally booked 3 nights but decided to stay for 5 — and still didn’t want to leave. There’s plenty to do around, and we spent three wonderful days exploring the area on a scooter. Everything was simply perfect. The hotel is located in a beautiful colonial-style building, and the rooms are exactly as shown in the photos — stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything you might need is there. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh water, tea, and coffee replenished daily. We had a room with a large terrace, furnished with chairs and a table — perfect for drying wet clothes after the beach or the pool. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, offering both Asian and European options. You can even order authentic Vietnamese coffee from the staff — just like in a café. The menu changes every day and includes Vietnamese specialties, so you can try some unique local dishes and sweets. There’s also a swimming pool — a great way to cool off after hot days — and a lovely spa. I had a massage with Cherry and highly recommend her! Cherry is an excellent masseuse and such a kind, warm person. The spa itself is cozy, spotless, and decorated in the same elegant style as the rest of the hotel, with soft background music that truly helps you unwind after a busy day. And finally — the cherry on top — the staff. I couldn’t believe that already on the second day the reception girls remembered our room number (on the 7th floor) and how we liked our coffee at breakfast. They are helpful, smiling, friendly (and speak great English!), always patient and focused on guests, never rushing. Alice and Bee — I’ll always remember you warmly. Thank you again, and we hope to see you next time! Oh, and I almost forgot! The room is quiet! No noise from the air conditioning or the street — perfect for a good night’s sleep. The mattresses are super comfortable, with several pillows — not too hard, unlike in many other places.
