This is an apartment hotel, my room was a studio with a balcony on the sixth floor. The studio is small but for a single person had enough space to never feel cramped. The rooms are well designed in the layout with a wardrobe and small desk as well as a kitchen and dining area with cooking pans, plate, utensils to make regular meals. The bathroom has a shower and nice vanity and again well designed with plenty of light. A free laundry area is available on the first floor as well as a gym. Staff are very helpful. Wi-fi was excellent. The hotel is walking distance to the CBD and popular Smith Street restaurants and nightlife as well as Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.

Located on a quiet street in the chicest part of Melb, I really loved how Lyf offered an apartment-feel but with hotel amenities. Big fan of Lyf's product! Their vibe maybe sounds a tad cringe, but not at all on the ground. The staying experience is so excellent, esp. for its value. The bed in this property was true luxe (the bedding omg real goose-down duvet and such a good mattress), and I really appreciated the room layout with thoughtfully placed plugs or light-switches. When I return to Melb, totally staying here! The value is supremo.

The property was in a great location, very convenient to multiple tram lines and the neighborhoods I wanted to be near. I walked nearly everywhere. Every single person who worked at the front desk was absolutely lovely and very helpful! They made the stay even better :) I would stay here again if I’m ever back in Melbourne.
