We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the exceptional experience. The staff at the front desk were outstanding in their professionalism and warmth. The rooms were spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, the heated bathroom floor added a touch of unexpected luxury. A special mention must be made of the staff member in the breakfast room. Her commitment to service was truly remarkable, as evidenced by her arriving 1.5 hours early to ensure we had a fresh breakfast on the day of our departure. This level of dedication was both extraordinary and heartwarming. In summary, this hotel combines comfortable, affordable accommodations with great service. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, from the front desk to the breakfast room greatly enhanced our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel.

This Gem of a hotel was unique, spacious, great location, walking distance to all sites. The staff (I believe family owned) was beyond amazing, helpful and super courteous. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, with restaurants and shops within a 5min walk.

I had a wonderful 4 days at Retro Art Hotel. My room was clean and comfortable with a big, clean bathroom. It came with plenty of complimentary coffee, tea and water. The wifi worked great. My favorite thing about the hotel was the location. Located down a quiet little alley in the old city, it was perfect for exploring all of Baku by foot, and very close to the metro if you need. Baku is a wonderful city and I'm sure I'll be back to visit again soon.

I loved everything about the hotel: 1. The location is perfect — right in the center of the old city, with all the main sights and facilities very close by. 2. The room was beautifully authentic, clean, and equipped with everything you might need. 3. The service was outstanding. All the managers made me feel at home, and as a solo female traveler, that sense of safety was especially important. They were all so helpful and caring. 4. The breakfast was very good, more than enough for a full meal. Basically, I loved everything about it.
