What impressed me the most was the eye for detail. For example: a nice case for the tv remote, a leather stool for your purse at dinner, giant curtains that open and close air tight with adjustable ropes that are super easy to manage… we got upgraded to one of the big rooms with a balcony right on the lake. The staff are beyond friendly and I love the old fashioned, palace-style decor.

Beautiful well maintained gardens that we and the kids enjoyed. I would have stayed longer! Location is perfect and the rooms are both modern and historic. The balcony on the streets are a nice extra. Breakfast had many options and servers were friendly.

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town center and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.

What a great place to stay! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. There were a few reviews about the steep climb to the hotel but it was absolutely easy and no big deal. Highly recommended!
