The house is really amazing, it has 3 rooms. The one upstairs is gorgeous, big, with amazing sunlight and perfectly clean. In the nearby building there's the breakfast room, with western flavours (coffee,bread, eggs and bacon, fruits). The women there take care of everything and the location is surrounded in a silent, chill landscape. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend! Super recommended

The place is a small guesthouse in a local holiday cooperative, 2km away from Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall. The hosts were very nice and helpful, trying their best to speak English, which is very appreciable in China. They proposed taxi for the Great Wall or the airport, they prepared dinner on-demand, which was quite good (dumplings, roasted eggplants, skewers...). The beds are very comfy and the shower water is hot. Very good value for the price.

This wonderful guest house is near an authentic and not very touristic area of ​​the Chinese Wall. It is beautiful, clean and surrounded by nature. Jack and Sue are very kind and very nice, always available: they came to pick us up at the station and accompanied us to the wall, they did karaoke with us and cooked delicious meals. Easiest recommendation I've ever made. This family owned Inn is just perfect to me. The hosts are extremely caring and generous, the food is delicious, the Inn is located in a quiet area, very close to the Great Wall. You truly feel taken care of with tasty home made dishes, car transportation to places you wish to visit, and a genuinely warm-hearted owner (and his lovely son we had the chance to meet as well). Comfort is good, everything is clean, and the rooms are spacious. Great experience, we really felt at home and we will never forget our stay here !
