Perfect hotel, read till the end to see the big surprise.
Close to everything, metro station at 5 min walk to take you directly to the airport or any other famous places to visit in Shanghai.
The hotel is new, the room is big, the bed is comfortable and you are totally in the dark to sleep.
There is a gym room.
The staff people are all so nice and helpful, especially Johnson the Butler, they do speak English and even if they don't understand everything they will do the necessary to help.
Big surprise in this hotel, you have a generous breakfast, of course, but THE THING is from 6pm to 10pm you have FREE Dining at the restaurant, unbelievable, in all of the hotels I have been it's the first one to even offer this and I hope they will continue.

The hotel is very nice and well-organized inside, and the room was spacious. The staff were super friendly and helpful — one of the receptionists even offered to walk me to the airport when I asked for directions. It’s also very easy to reach the airport, just a 5-minute walk to Terminal 1.

I have been using Holiday Inn for most of the time when I travel overseas. it has never failed me, including this property. The staff was great, the property is a bit compact, but that didn't worry me and wasn't an issue at all. I am more conserned about the cleanliness of the bathroom and dining hall; in this case, they were exceptional. Location was great, a few local eateries as you come out of the front door. Shuicheng Rd subway about 7 min walk and there is a wee awsome bakery between hotel and subway.

I liked the room - they upgraded me to a room with a balcony. I thought the room and hotel looked better in real life than in the photos. The Soho was beautifully designed. The breakfast was great. They made every effort to make sure you were happy with your stay.
