The hotel is situated on a gorgeous island just a short boat ride from Xiamen. We were given a fantastic room that far exceeded our expectations and really made our stay on Guyangyu special. The reception staff took care to meet us from the boat and communicated via WeChat very well, they even recommended an excellent restaurant. We will return.

The building was beautiful, the bed comfortable and the staff were amazing! The lovely guy on reception gave me a great dinner recommendation, then went above and beyond to post some items to my next stop that I’d left behind! So helpful, generous and kind. Hotel is in close proximity to the tourist spots, and I highly recommend staying in the beautiful spot of you have a long layover in Xiamen!

Fantastic hotel if you want to explore Xiamen and the region. This is the best hostel I have ever been to. It is situated near the Douxi road BRT station. If you are coming from airport, you can take B1 or B2 BRT buses near to the hostel. Staff is very kind and helpful. Most of them can’t speak English very well. But they try their best with language translation apps. There is also super cheap restaurant right next to the hostel. This hostel is located on the 4th floor of the building.
