This was my first time at Hotel Gruenwald, I chose it as it is close to an S-Bahn station and only a short journey into central Munich. The hotel was bigger than I expected but felt cosy is family run and has a great ambience. My room was a good size and very comfortable. I very much enjoyed the breakfast provided, the choice of rolls and cold buffet, The breakfast staff also took an order to cook a hot breakfast. The scrambled eggs and Speck were delicious. . I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Munich.

Great location, just by the train station where you can catch S-Bahn lines to the center. Bus station also right in front of the hotel. Very comfortable apartment with all necesities. Kitchen with microwave oven, large refrigirator and all the kitchenware. Lots of wardrobe space, working desk, comfortable chairs for relaxations. Large supermarkets accross the street, different restaurants near by. Everything you need in a quiet and affordable neighbourhood.

If you use train (S8) the place is perfect. There is train every few minutes with connection to hauptbahnhof. The station is just 4 minutes on foot. The house is very comfortable, very clean, the bathroom is big.

Very sleek and modern, family room with partition between the beds to create 2 rooms so the kids could go to bed and we could stay up without keeping them awake. Fantastic breakfast included in the room price and amazing value for money. I couldn't understand why/how it was so reasonably priced yet so fancy. We had a great stay.
