The room and the bed were huge and super comfy. The breakfast was decent and they had different food every day which is always a plus. The walk to the beach or old town was a bit far, but not too bad. The city is very walkable and there is good public transport. The upside was that the location was very quiet and close to the train station.

Eurostars Amara has a quiet setting next to the River Urumea, in San Sebastián’s Plaza Pio XII Square. The elegant, modern rooms include free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.

The staff were wonderful. I honestly could not imagine nicer staff. Everything was perfect. It very easy to go to the main bus station from the hotel. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in San Sebastian.

It is as it looks on the photos, spacious, bright, very clean and most important very comfortable! The main man on reception was one of a kind, helping and guiding throughout … the best approach, motivation and efficiency. Kudos to him, needs a promotion and a pay rise!
