Beautiful building, the room was spacious and comfortable, the food was wonderful and served in a beautifully decorated lounge. I will definitely choose La Chartreuse when visiting Bordeaux again.

Very friendly staff, who were polite with my attempts to use French but also spoke superb English. Our daughter was playing in the lobby with the big teddy bears and so they gave her a little teddy bear to keep! A really nice gesture. Right near the tram line from the airport, easy to find and super helpful. They provide water bottles for during your stay to reduce plastic waste, which is a nice touch.

Location was excellent. All the staff was always smiling and very helpful and guided us with directions and food joints which were great since we are vegetarians. Carolina helped us with these great food joints. Tram stop is right in front of the hotel. They have an excellent concept of one large kitchen which had a fridge filled with soft drinks and a microwave for all guests.

Modern. Clean. Perfectly equipped: AC, coffee machine with capsules, toaster, kettle, fridge, crockery, cutlery, dishcloth, sponge, washing up liquid, shampoo, sugar, soap, oil, salt. It's these small wonderful details that make an incredibly comfortable stay. The location is wonderful for walking to the centre. The complimentary bottle of local wine was the cherry on the cake.
