Nice location right outside the city walls with about a 10 minute walk to the city centre, staff were very helpful and it was very silent which I appreciated a lot. There was also access to a lovely pantry with most necessities one could need. All in all I had a great stay.

Absolutely exquisite Gem! Self check in was simple and well explained. The unit was spacious, clean and oh my goodness the bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced during traveling. The location couldn't have been better and within short walking distance to all of York's must see attractions and entertainment. Price point was very reasonable and the property well exceeded expectations. Will definately be back and recommend to others.

The vinyl record player in the room was a true gem. The reception area had a huge display of great records which added such a special touch. Also the dollhouse which covered coffee, tea and mugs was really nice. Staff and location just superb to explore this cute town without a car.

As I am a big Harry Potter fan I love the hotel for its decor! The focus on the smallest details is amazing :) we really felt like in Hogwart, so it was a great addition to our Harry Potter themed trip. It was our second stay. The beds were comfy, everything was clean and well equiped. It is a perfect hotel for one or two nights as the room is quite small, but it was not a problem.
