Foremost, the host! Ernest is so fantastic with all recommendations (resturants , museums, etc) , responsive to all queries, clear & organised in giving accommodation tips/ information. It really takes off your stress as he is really proactive and helpful! He even prepared welcome snacks and beers. The location is great with nearby supermarket and numerous restaurants. Also walking distance to various places of interest and Dolac Market. The place is well equipped and there is this interesting book on Croatia that he recommended and I'm glad to have taken time to read it.

The hotel is modern and new - made with quality and modern materials. Very good breakfast - with good choice of food. The hotel is located up on the hill above the central area of Zagreb, the view from the terrace is amazing, at the same time it's just a short walk away from the central street where a lot of different restaurants located, on a few streets, close to each other. Parking possible on street and it costs 20 EUR, this is a municipal fee in central Zagreb. What is unusual, that you get parking ticket on windscreen in the morning, which is not a fine but an invoice to pay for 1 day of parking, it can be paid at the hotel reception.

The accommodation was exceptional. Very large room spotlessly clean and everything you would need for self catering. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We stayed there from 9th Dec 2022 to 13th Dec 2022. We have stayed in many places all over the world and this place is on our list as being at the top.Right in the heart of town, restaurants, bars, all a couple of yards away. Bed was very comfortable, and I am fussy about a comfy bed. Thank you to the two owners for a lovely stay. I would recommend this place as the best Thank you Bruce and Debbie
