I can't begin to explain my love for this place, and the people who own it and the staff who maintain it. The pool is. fantastic, the breakfast is wonderful, the vibe here is so great I made friends I will have for a lifetime - including Michael, the owner, who made me feel welcome and appreciated. I've been to 36 countries - I've never stayed in a more welcoming place with a villa that was everything Bali was in my mind. I would definitely come back.

Amazing place, calm, beautiful, and ketut is an amazing host, always offering me coconuts, bananas and mangos. Just a short walk to the beach. If I go back I'm definitely staying there again.

All the extra little touches just kept us smiling… Super happy=Senang indeed Its location is both intimate with nature nestled in stunning rice fields, and held by the background of the vast ocean, its horizon lit by fishing boats and stars at night. The pool is perfectly positioned and inviting for relaxation and refreshment. The rooms are Super spacious and private, super light and airy. We didn’t need air conditioning though it was available. The food was really nice, the staff were so friendly and helpful, it was so quiet and we felt like a local. The little village it is set in was a really nice snapshot of Indonesian life. The local beaches were great. The pool was superb and when it was quiet I could even do my laps in there which I loved! My child who is fussy loved it the most out of all our stays in Bali.. We will be back! The beds were very comfy. The showers were great too. We loved hiring the motorbikes for the very easy drive to the beach. The beach was very beautiful and there was even surf lessons if you wanted. If we didnt have children with us we would have just walked. But was fun to do both. The massage was the best balinese massage we have both had. Very worthwhile. We were there on mothers day and was a great way to celebrate. Thankyou.

Best choice for it’s cost. Pretty big room with a fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, working space, big and nice bathroom with a shower and also access to the roof top with really good view, where enough space to do yoga or any other activities. If you are looking for a not expensive room in Balian beach - this is definitely the best place

Surrounded by rice paddies, looking through a coconut grove at the crushing waves at the beach while sitting on the veranda of our cosy A-frame cabin we felt like minor gods on the island of gods. The endless beach empty, our stomachs full with the simple but delicious dinner, listening to the birds, the frogs and the cicadas we feared the day we had to leave. Every single person on the staff was friendly, helpful and competent. Much of this - including many design choices - Desa Cabins owes to Diana, the woman who runs the place. Thank you Diana, Nanda, Bungi, ... and all the others who's names I shouldn't have forgotten.

Doing surf check from the bed is priceless! Having breakfast while doing surf check is awesome! Breakfast was good and healthy and they set the table at the villa. Sunsets from pool, good mattress and 270* view are worth to mention. Villa is perfect to surf and relax, quite beach. Staff is there to help and very friendly.

Very comfortable place, felt like home there. A lot of space for me and my family, comfy beds, big kitchen. Really enjoyed pool and garden, gives a lot of shade during the daytime. Felt tranquil and peaceful having all facilities I needed. Everything was few steps away, cafe, the beach with surf spot. Manager was very open and ready to help with all we needed. Definitely will come back there.

Comfortable and nice furnitured apartment, we had two rooms - bedroom and a living room with fully equipped kitchen, we enjoyed nice jungle view and private access to the pool area, i suppose this area is for all guests but we stayed alone, it was amazing. Really close to the beach and all local restaurants. Very good place to stay if you visiting Balian Beach. Also they have Netflix on TV
