We loved our stay at Huma. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always ready to offer directions and suggestions. The location is central, close to the Kraton and Tamansari, at the same time away from the chaos. The room was beautiful and very clean. We especially enjoyed the private outdoor bathroom. The common areas were very pleasant and useful. Coffee, tea, and water were always available. We’re grateful for the wonderful memories.

This is an amazing little place right in the heart of Yogyakarta, a stones throw from both the palace and the water castle. My room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. There was simple complimentary breakfast in the morning and water (both hot and cold) and snacks available during the day free of charge which I thought was a lovely touch. The staff was great - friendly and always ready to help.

General system of the guest house functions very well. The location is just a walking distances to main cultural attractions of Jogjakarta, so close that I can sit at the open air lobby at dusk to listen to the live gamelan in rehearsal from inside the white wall of the Karaton.

The hotel is in the city's center but on a quiet street. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom had a fantastic shower with great controls. The staff was very attentive and responded to all requests.
