Incredible hostel with dorms and private rooms in Yogyakarta. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and well-taken care. I especially liked the bathrooms and little garden! The location is great. It’s in an alley, so you do not hear much noise except a mosque nearby. There’s several good restaurants close by. The host was super friendly and can help you arrange tours or transportation if needed.

A good hotel to explore Yogyakarta would be one located near the city center and historical sites. The room should be spacious and comfortable for couples. The house and room was very clean. We booked this place for three nights and also had breakfast there every morning. The food was very good and we had a lot of options to choose from. Our host was very kind and helped us where ever she could.
