Fabulous! This has to be one of the best, if not the best, hostel that I stayed in during my travels. I do not know where to begin in terms of describing just how amazing my overall experience was. The hostel is only a month or so old so everything is, as one would expect, brand new. Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

This an amazing place ,with very friendly and professional stuff. What I liked more here: 1.The beautiful place with garden and flowers are very clean and well-tended near the sea side,the see view from balcony was very picturesque and the room was clean and comfortable to stay. 2. The stuff was so professional and polite and always are try to help with all my ask and needs. Thank you for that great welcoming atmosphere ! 3. That place is near the sea,3 min to walk and you are on the beautiful beach. I recommend that place,who can chill near the ocean with comfortable stay ) I was glad to stay at that place!

The place is beautiful, in front of the ocean in a palm oasis. The cottages are super comfy, and the services are great, supplying you with everything you need and satisfying your request. The staff is particularly great, I was never treated so good during my travels, and this is something that make your stay from being very great to being perfect. Nothing can be improved from this point of view, people there are absolutely great, taking care of literally everything, and really caring about you. I absolutely suggest to come here, and when I'll have the chance to come back to India, I will 100% come to Kerala cottages again.

Amazing accomodation. The rooms were really nice, clean and spacious with beautiful bathrooms. Host was also really nice and prepared delicious breakfast for us.

Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Gumnut house is a simple guesthouse in Varkala. Th house is managed by Rose who is a great host. The house is extremely clean, wifi is excellent, location is great, bathroom is extremely nice with hot water. Gumnut is 2 min walk from Surf and Soul, where guests can enjoy a café/restaurant offering extremely good food, a private beach and surf and yoga lessons. I would definitely recommend!

Property ,especially rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean, AC remote battery very weak so not able to adjust temperature, you can include tea/coffe along with breakfast, and Hot water is not available in the bathroom, appart from these concern, it's very good Property giving feel like Home
