Our stay at Kerala Cottage was an absolute delight! This is closest that I have gotten to stay near a beach with the sea being just a few steps away. You can hear the sound of the waves inside the room. Far from the hustle bustle of town, this place is serene. Great destination for a dopamine detox. Great hospitality from the owner and staff - always ready to help and make our stay comfortable - with a smile! You won't regret the stay. Note: Seasonal beach. Best time being November - March

We extended our stay and got a different room, which was also super cozy. The warm atmosphere and the lovely people here made our stay really special. Breakfast was great, and the Kerala-style dinner absolutely blew us away – it felt like dining in a nice restaurant! We are very happy that we chose this place, and if we had more time, we would definitely stay longer.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! Property ,especially rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean, AC remote battery very weak so not able to adjust temperature, you can include tea/coffe along with breakfast, and Hot water is not available in the bathroom, appart from these concern, it's very good Property giving feel like Home

About the hostel very shortly, well facilitated, comfortable, and neat. I do believe that people create a unique place, and this place confirms that. The host, Santos, is so generous, hospitable, and helpful. He can arrange everything, bicycle, food, trains, and I guess much more.
