The location is perfect for families. Odayam beach is a short walk and is quieter and cleaner than Varkala beach. Some days we had the entire beach to ourselves. We won’t ever forget surfing and swimming as the sun sets. Beautiful.

The hostel stories has a perfect location and very homely vibe. I made many friends and we all used to cook and eat together everyday. The host is very friendly and i shared lots of stories with him and could talk for hours. The beach is extremely close to the property with just 2 mins walking distance. I could also work from hostel with high speed wifi through out the day. I would definitely recommend this hostel for long term stay, workation stay or just weekend getaway.

Wonderful beach. Amazing staff. Beautiful property with hammock’s in green, lush surroundings. Nice view of ocean also from breakfast location. Shopping at the end of the beach, very nice in every way.

The staff were so lovely and helpful. Anything we needed help with they were available to help. The pool was a fantastic addition. The location is brilliant as it is a 2 minute walk from the cliffs and beach.

Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Property ,especially rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean, AC remote battery very weak so not able to adjust temperature, you can include tea/coffe along with breakfast, and Hot water is not available in the bathroom, appart from these concern, it's very good Property giving feel like Home

Our room was spacious with beautiful terrace to relax. The house and facilities are new, very clean and well maintained. Location is quiet, just one minute walk to the nice Odayam beach. Several decent restaurants nearby. We could choose breakfast in Blue Water Resort or home made keralas breakfast on the terrace. Faizal and his family are great hosts always ready to help onsite or via WatsApp.
