The host was very welcoming and allowed us to check in much earlier than the normal check in time. He even gave us a map and circled a few historical sites and tourist attractions in Naples as well as restaurants nearby.

Had a wonderful stay at MareLuna Rooms. Iolanda and Valentina are friendly hosts and provide excellent hospitality. The rooms are clean/modern with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast offers a great variety of foods and the location provides good access by walking or taxi to Napoli’s attractions.

Maurizio e Alessia House is a recently renovated apartment in Naples, near National Archeological Museum. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site.

The property you can tell is very taken care of. Everything was clean and well thought out. The bed, although being a pullout sofa bed, was extremely comfortable. The home felt spacious as a solo traveler. The host provided basic essentials in the kitchen and restroom which came in handy. He also provided booklets and information for things to do in the city. He even took time to check in to see if anything else was needed during my stay. Even the neighbors were very welcoming. The market is just down the street along with the metro. Plenty of food options within walking distance. Natural light did shine through which was perfect since a lot of the homes in this area do not have that. Overall this was an excellent choice.

The views from the flat are outstanding. Of course, to get to the flat there are LOTS of stairs. The flat is 4 flights up from the building door - be prepared! My partner and I didn't have any issue with this because we are in good shape. Someone who is out of shape, carrying luggage up and down, might struggle. But let's get back to the view. Once you're in the flat you have sweeping views of Napoli and the bay. For us the climb was worth it. It's a studio flat - 1 room. But all of the necessary things for (light) cooking are there. Large shower. There's even a washer and drying rack. Very handy!
