We truly liked the apartment. It was big, clean, well furnished, well prepared and organized. Location is great! The view outside is great, but not so much from our flat, but we enjoyed eating outside just by the apartment there are many local places by the water with beautiful sunset view and Venice.

Very nice location and very beautiful apartment, just like in the pictures.It comes with all the basics like stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, sandwich maker, water heater and some pots and pans and cutlery. It has a working wifi and television in every room. We could use a sharp knife but it was not a big deal. It is off the main island and we loved it, as you are actually living among normal Venetians. Going to the supermarket was very easy, just one stop with Vaporetto. Vaporetto stop is really close to the apartment. Access from Tronchetto is super easy, just one stop away. Get a weekly ticket (or whatever timeframe you needs) for Vaporetto and go and explore. Taking tours is a tourist trap, because you can go to the main attractions and islands in laguna with it. It is super fun.

Guidecca is a very nice and quite neighborhood -we loved to stay there. The apartment is quite modern and on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator which is very helpful. The terrace and balcony allow for sunbathing -which is not why we came to Venice. The supermarket COOP is around the corner which is very handy.

This is Venice. We chose to stay off the main island/city, in/on Giudecca. It was a nice boat ride on Alilaguna from Marco Polo Airport to the island. Once we met with the 'hosts', they showed us to the property where were easily entered, dropped our bags and rested. They gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant there just a few yards from the apartment where we enjoyed our first night in Venice on the shoreline viewing the city shoreline. The apartment was the most spacious of the 5 we stayed at on our European trip in September, 2025. Beds were comfortable enough, clean and towels provided. The vaporetta (water bus) station was nearby, Several good restaurants on the island walkways. Good cafe and pastries, something we came to really love about our Europe travels. There was a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, all you would need for a longer stay. We chose to eat out. We didn't discover the 'grocery' until a couple of days into our visit. They had a nice book on the entry table with all the rules and recommendations. They are building it as you go. There is a nice wardrobe in the entry hall. It would use more hangers. Drawers in only one room, so we sort of lived out of our suitcase in that room. Space for the 4 adults (2 couples).
