Extremely well located, less than 100m from Umekoji station and a few blocks from Toji Shrine and the closest bus stop, the hotel is also very well equipped with a self service laundry, restaurant and Family Mart located just next door. The room was also very spacious and pristine.

Very friendly welcoming us. Our room was very well equipped, amenities missing could be picked in lobby. Floor plan of the room is perfect. The bed was very comfy. Room heating worked quiet and well. Design of the room is very appealing. Breakfast is great price value rate, nothing really missing. The sauna with long opening hours is very clean and beautiful. The Vischio: Wonderful.

Wow! What's not to like? Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei is an exceptional Hotel/ Inn/ Guest House. The service is very personal, the rooms are of adequate size (for Japan), the location is a short 5 minutes walk to the metro or 3 minutes to the bus stop. Its right across a creek with wonderful views of Cherry Blossoms. We didn't get the breakfast but maybe we should have??? Oh well, next time for sure. The ensuite Hinoki Cypress Tub is a welcome bonus! Great way to relax after all that walking :-)
