Excellent Japanese experience including staff hospitality, comfortable bed with beautiful Japanese style room, free welcoming drinks, re-energizing onsen. It was the best accommodation I have stayed in Japan. I know I will come back there (for sure :) ). Highly recommendated!

Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

Wonderful place, super clean and close to Takayama train station. Super nice staff. Loved the onsen and the size of the room. They give you traditional slippers and kimonos to wear in the facility. Fantastic experience.

Absolutely loved our stay in Relax Hotel Takayama. We were so surprised about how spacious the room is - it’s like 3 or 4 times bigger than the normal room in Japan. They also provided us with free drinks for both kids and adults! Location is superb - maybe 1-2 mins walk from the station. I highly recommend this to families. Thank you!

We visited Takayama as part of our honeymoon trip and Jackson went out of his way to make us feel welcome at the Iori Lounge & Spa studio apartment! Great location near the old town, spacious room & nice private bath (automatic functions that fill the bath + maintain the temperature, so luxurious!), pajamas, good breakfast, nice amenities.
