Very friendly and helpful staff.  Great location and great accommodation with all you could need and really more. Within the walking distance from many attractions of the city.  variety of good restaurants, and pubs in the neighbourhood.  both fancy ones like also local.

We loved staying at the De Saram House, and were very excited to stay in one of Bawa’s projects in Colombo - it did not disappoint! Both the private rooms and communal areas are beautiful, and it is a very peaceful environment, whilst still being well located within the city. The dining room is a standout, and was a great place to eat breakfast with the sunlight filtering in. Anthony and the staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. We definitely hope to be back!

Good location in the diplomatic quarter. Great pool and roof restaurant. Breakfast fine. All the staff were excellent, from the doormen, reception, housekeeping / laundry, and the staff in the restaurants. Room (11th floor) was large with a fine view.

The property location is fantastic. Great cafes, supermarket, boutiques, restaurants in walking distance. Very quiet location. The Zylan has great interiors, music and a very calming vibe at the property. The team at the property including the front desk Tuwon and Shakir, at the restaurant Nimal and Shajid took very good care of us. Chef Sampath took special care of us by preparing very tasty vegetarian Jain food. They all made our stay a truly memorable one.

The host, Deepika, was very friendly and helpful. We had a late night flight arrival and Deepika met us at 1am to show us the room! The apartment was very large, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was excellent - lots of restaurants with in walking distance and a supermarket just down the road. Whilst we didn’t find the time to swim, the property’s pool looked inviting. Security on premises. I highly recommend this apartment.
