The riad dar Awil was the second at during my trip and it did set up expectations for the others. The service from the personal is excellent. They are polite, professional and made sure I have a quick check in and a comfortable stay. Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. I stayed at this beautifully decorated traditional Riad and was thoroughly impressed. It offers both double rooms and dormitories, all immaculately clean and well maintained, with comfortable bedding and en-suite bathroom and shower. The Riad is perfectly located in the medina, close to everything you might need, and is easily accessible from both Bab Doukala and Bab Marrakech. There are lovely shared spaces on the ground floor and the rooftop, for relaxing or socializing. Although I only stayed for one night, I will definitely come back. Thank you Marouane for everything!

I booked this property because of the colour and uniqueness of the hotel and it didn't disappoint absolutely beautiful rooms and spaces and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean and Medina Wall's made my heart sing each morning. The location was perfect, close to everything and easy to find if you happen to get lost whilst walking around the old Medina, often my goal.
