This is a modern hotel in a beautiful area, in New Bagan. The facilities are great. I loved the roof top breakfast and bar. There is restaurant ‘Basket’ opposite the hotel that serves nice food. Staff is sweet and accommodating. I absolutely loved that they have complimentary coffee and tea and water refill on the ground floor and also there are plenty of books donated by travelers on the second floor and you can sit there and read. The hotel is just as beautiful as on the pictures!

Bagan Nova is a 10-minute walk from Lawka Nandar Pagoda. It features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi access in public areas.

The hotel is beautiful: it has a great inner courtyard, perfect rooms and lots of beautiful plants. The generator is also great; power cuts can be bridged without any problems. The breakfast is very tasty and the restaurant is also great. Thanks to the friendly, very cordial staff, this hotel is perfect. Go there!

The staff is very friendly and helpful (like all Myanmar people!). The set up of the reosrt is beautiful with nice little 'houses' in great and well kept gardens. The swimming ppol was in good order and so was the overall property. The room was spacious and fortunately very clean. The resort spa was small, but of very high quality - excellent massage with superb price quality - take one every dauy before dinner! I found it difficult to find a good and safe hotel in Bagan with little (recent) proper reviews - hence also my more extensive review of this nice and 'great pick!' hotel. Location is excellent and very close to all sights. Breakfast also ok for Western travellers. I will certainly look to return with my family. PS: I made use of a local tour guide: Min Thant of Tastes of Bagan (.com). I would highly recommend to book him! location, it’s like staying in a tropical garden with its own ancient temple. the staff are super helpful and friendly. the breakfast was fresh and a variety of choices. I’d stay again and recommend it to others.

Best hostel in the whole Asia! Very friendly staff, I love and respect everyone here! First time I came in February for a couple of days but ended up staying here until the rest of the year coming back off and on! Every time when I come back to Bagan I feel here like at home! I met so many nice people here: travelers from abroad we went together to Nepal, Bangladesh, India. Another guests we went together to Inle, Madalay, Mount Popa. Also I met many nice local friends here who gave me a unique chance to spend a lot of time with their family! I want to say special thanks for the general manager of Ostello Bello: to Egle! She is incredibly kind and therefore all the hostel staff is following her example and also kind and nice! I will pray Ostello Bello will reopen it's branch in Inle and maybe another Myanmar cities after the situation becomes better! Thanks for everything and with my huge respect for everyone here: Sam.

Nice and typical Myanmar style Hotel in the new part of Bagan. Facility is well maintained with good restaurant and excellent staff. Positive attitude aways is bringing positive emotions. The Staff really is pushing the borders to bring you peaceful and joyful stay. Recommended location outside of crowded downtown especially is you are traveling with a car.

It consisted of stylish cottages surrounded by the green, in a quiet area of Nyaung U but very reasonably close to the Bagan archeological area. The closeness to the airport was not a problem, noise-wise. The property included a very friendly restaurant on the first floor of the main building, with a menu of international, oriental and Burmese dishes, which made dinner easier for those who were not willing to leave the property in the evening. A very well-maintained swimming pool granted a welcome relax after a day exploring the area.

Everything - the most friendly and welcoming staff I have ever met. The food is excellent and everyone from reception to restaurant takes great care of customers. They upgraded my room for free. Situated in Old Bagan. Most places are very easy to reach. Will certainly come again.
