My husband and I were very happy to stay. If you want to have a luxury experience then this place isn't the place to be for you. It is like a homestay, there's everything you need. The location is really good, the beach and restaurant are walking distance (within 7 min) The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Some reviews said the internet speed is low. But I could work smoothly(I didn't use video or voice call though) We didn't use kitchen for cooking. Gus stove with oven and pots are there. The washing machine isn't attached inside of your room, but it is outside for use. I am sure we will be back here if we come to Mauritius again !

We enjoyed our 2+ weeks at L’ Oceano apartments and would be happy to return. The hosts Ritesh and Oushma were very helpful, kind, and receptive and truly want their guests to be happy. We requested beach towels which were promptly brought up, and we had plenty of bath towels. The apartment is large and spacious, very clean, and was a welcome reprieve after full days of touring the island. The kitchen is well equipped with several pots, pans, and skillets, and has plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, and flatware. There were also a nice selection of kitchen implements such as a spatula for flipping eggs. A colander would have been a nice addition for draining pasta, and a toaster would have been a nice addition. There is no oven, which surprised us, but was not a big deal as we improvised using the stovetop. It was very nice to have a washing machine, but plan on bringing laundry detergent. There is a large drying rack to dry clothes found on the large balcony. There is a storage cupboard with cleaning items such as a broom, and a mop on the balcony. Being we visited during the Mauritian winter, the temperatures were not too hot and the air conditioning and fans kept us cool and comfortable. The water in the shower was overall hot and consistent, but a few times went cold but would come back fairly quickly. Shampoo and soap for the shower are not provided, so plan on bringing or purchasing upon arrival. However, liquid hand soap is provided at each of the bathroom sinks, and liquid detergent is provided at the kitchen sink for washing dished. Wifi worked fine throughout our stay.
