After trying a couple of private airbnbs and finding the quality and cleanliness unpredictable, I chose to try Le Meridien, which turned out to be a great decision. reliably clean, quite new, quite spacious (the upgrade to the corner room is worth it) and the hotel has really helpfull staff, nice pool, etc. it's central, you arrive to the hotel straight from the airport by train. have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay and will return if I am ever back in KL

The hotel was fantastic—I stayed for a month and never encountered a single issue. Its location was excellent, close to the city center with everything you need within walking distance.
