Hotels in Samphanthawong, Bangkok

Cleanliness and spacious : have never seen a hostel that is so clean and spacious in about 18 countries I have been so far. The dorms and the beds are huge and makes one feel like they are in a hotel room. The hostel is also very big.

This was a great hotel with many amazing facilities. The restaurant buffet had a wide variety of delicious food. The gym and pool was great on top of the relaxing spa and massage facilities. The staff was very polite and helping us to get around Bangkok in terms of restaurant and other recommendations. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Firstly, the service from the friendly staff was amazing. The location is also very very convenient and there is a 7-11 right outside (and another 2 storea within 3mins walk...) where a lot of guests seem to enjoy a saunter out for ice cream and drinks and refreshments at night. The BTS and skywalk is a 7min walk away and at the end of the street is a shopping mall with pharmacies and lots of dining options. This was the main reason we chose to stay here. Secondly, and perhaps the highlight is the breakfast service which is amazing and not to be missed! You can make special requests , e.g. we could ask for Thai milk tea and ices coffee in takeaway cups, and ask for certain food items brought to you which are not on display such as fresh coconut cut and brought to us from behind the counter (which you may have to pay for). The waiting staff and kitchen staff is super attentive. The only downside is that despite there being a lot of tables, it can be very busy between 9am-10am, and you will have to wait a while to be seated, however if you come back at 10.30am it should be fine though. They have a wide selection of food items and cater to all dietary requirememts. Thirdly, as a couple we found the room to be very comfortable, clean and well serviced by the lovely staff. They provide lots of water bottles (we always found ouraelves with 6 bottles by the time we came back to the room). There is a full length mirror and a vanity mirror too which helps us look our best when we step out into the lobby! There is no problem with cleanliness and the airconditioning and room purifier works a treat and is not noisy at night. As for the ac/power outlets they are actually universal so you do not need to bring power adapter plugs. There are plenty of usb plugs also to charge your phones and tablets and I found myself having needlessly spent money on plug adapters.

The breakfast is great! Could have been better if there are many choices of halal food. The location is perfect for shopping as it is only walking distance to nearest shopping malls. Definitely would come back again to stay in the future.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff, the rooms, the pool area.

This was our first hotel in Thailand when we just landed so we didn't really know what to expect. The staff was extremely nice, the hotel looks beautiful and has a great smell. The pool looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. The room was big and even though we were street facing it was nice that there was a little balcony so we can put clothes out to dry. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked great.

We booked an executive suite and everything was outstanding from check-in to check-out and everything in between.

Everything was superb,, huge room spotlessly clean, all the facilities I needed. Excellent breakfast cooked individually. A special menton for all the staff I met, helpful.,competent, always with a smile.
